Uncomplicated Website Data
Measuring data should be quick, simple and easy for you to understand. We collect your website analytics and present them in a way that enables you to view and analyse the data. We can provide detailed charts, graphs and other visual information, so you can make swift decisions about your marketing strategies.
Meaningful Measurements
Our web analytics service helps you discover who your customers are, what they’re looking for and how they’re using your website. We’ll help you track your goals effectively and gain a deeper understanding of your website’s strengths and weaknesses. Every site should have specific goals and purposes. By properly tracking these, you’ll be able to make more informed decisions.
Web Analytics Tools We Use
Whether you’ve already got some tracking tools set up or you’re starting from scratch, we can help ensure everything is set up correctly and that you’re tracking in the best way.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is the newest version of GA and is now fully rolled out. GA has always been the main base of operations when talking about web performance. However, in a world concerned with privacy this is getting more and more difficult. GA4 is Google’s attempt to support privacy whilst also affording businesses the ability to track their website’s performance. Although a lot is tracked in GA4 out of the box, we can still add custom tracking to ensure we’re measuring the most important activity. This helps us to better understand how users interact with your site and what activities result in a user becoming a customer.
Google Search Console
This is a free tool that simply needs to be claimed to use, and similarly Bing (Microsoft) have their own version called Bing Webmaster Tools. These allow you free access to see what searches have led to your website being shown in search results. They also show you what people are clicking, what pages work well, what keyword average rankings you have, what your internal links are and any basic technical SEO issues. You can also submit your website’s sitemap in these tools, which gives Google a literal map of your site so it can crawl your site more efficiently.
Google Data Studio
For reasons no one cares about, Data Studio is now Looker Studio. The name really doesn’t matter - it’s still an amazing tool, and free! Looker Studio allows you to create reports using data from multiple sources and then put this into tables, pivot tables, scorecards, graphs and more, with comparisons to previous periods. You can add your own filters so the data can be interrogated further. If you’ve never played with this reporting tool, go have a look. Simply pick a template and connect your GA account, Google Ads or anything else and see for yourself. We’ve taken this a step further and can now create custom multi-source reports and dashboards that better reflect what’s important, rather than templates with everything.
Google Tag Manager
Referred to by most as GTM, Google Tag Manager is simply an empty container that is installed on to your site, which then allows us to add in any tracking script or pixel. On top of this, we can set up custom events to track, like Google Ads conversions, and send this data back.
